Fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar Korea has unveiled its Spring edition cover featuring BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, who posed in the new Tommy Hilfiger collection as a global ambassador. The photoshoot, themed “Daydreaming,” captured Jisoo in vibrant, colorful moments, embodying the casual mood of the brand.
In the exclusive interview, Jisoo shared that for her new album “AMORTAGE,” she aimed to express feelings everyone can relate to, especially through the title track “earthquake,” which she described as an unpredictable song that flows like a movie. She added that the album marks a significant challenge for her, having worked with new people and growing alongside the team.
She shared, “I wanted to capture feelings that everyone has probably experienced at least once. I believe no one can be indifferent to the theme of love. I chose ‘earthquake’ as the title track because I felt it was an uncontrollable song. It keeps changing from start to finish, creating a feeling of unpredictability. It’s a song expressing a trembling moment, and I wanted the album to flow like a movie.”
She also added, “This album feels like the beginning of a big challenge for me. It’s a project where I worked with new people, overcoming obstacles together. I feel a strong attachment to it as I learned everything from scratch and grew alongside the team.”
When asked about the driving force behind her ability to juggle both singing and acting careers, she replied, “When I think about why I want to work harder as time goes on, I realize it’s because of the feelings created by my fans. When fans watch my performances and content, I want them to feel proud of me. That’s when my pride grows. There are times when I wonder why I push myself so hard, but when I realize that the love I receive drives me, I feel good.”
